We are all about dinosaurs in our makerspace this week. Footprints led the students into our space and straight to the dinosaur sections (permanent & temporary display). Our goal is to tie the makerspace in with our library each week to maximise the connection between the two. It worked very well this week, and we hope to continue this in the future.

Students created dinosaurs in the craft area, were challenged to make Lego dinosaurs and the big books came out of the Teacher Resource collection for students to read. The toy dinosaurs even made an appearance.

Sphero circled the students as they worked, almost like the Gyroshperes in Jurassic World. The students are exploring the Sphero app and learning different tricks. I must add that it is fast! The initial movement shocked us all as we thought it would move much slower.
